Easy Homemade Chocolate Dip

Serves: 1½ cups
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 2 cups (16 oz) of your favorite chocolate (I used milk chocolate chips)
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- ½ tsp vanilla extract*
- In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, bring cream to a simmer.
- Pour over chocolate in a medium bowl and stir until smooth.
- Stir in butter and vanilla until completely combined. Let cool to room temperature, cover, and refrigerate.
*If you're a fan of almond extract (like me), you can substitute it for the vanilla extract to give the dip a hint of almond flavor.
