Ingredients
  • 1 cup half and half
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • ¾ cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 2 lbs russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, cubed
  • 1-1/2 cups frozen broccoli, rinsed and thawed
  • 2-1/2 cups Kraft Natural Shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13x9-inch pan or casserole dish.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, whisk together the half and half, chicken broth, flour, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper, stirring constantly until slightly thickened (about 4 minutes). Remove from heat.
  3. Layer half of the potatoes in the pan, making sure to cover bottom.
  4. Sprinkle with turkey and 1 cup of the cheese. Then layer with remaining potatoes. Pour cream mixture over layers. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes,* or until potatoes are almost tender when pierced with fork.
  5. Remove foil, top potatoes with broccoli and remaining 1-1/2 cup of cheese, and bake, uncovered, for an additional 15 minutes.
