Recipe type: Main Dish, Grilled
Serves: 3-4 burgers
Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • ⅓ cup Budweiser Steak & Burger Sauce
  • 1 package frozen onion rings
  • 1 8-oz package sliced mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (I used olive oil mayo)
  • ½ cup Budweiser Brewmaster's BBQ Sauce, any flavor
  • 4 sliced Swiss cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, onion soup mix, and Steak & Burger Sauce. Shape into 3–4 equal patties, placing a small indentation in the middle of each patty. Set aside.
  2. Preheat grill to high heat.
  3. Meanwhile, prepare onion rings according to package directions.
  4. Prepare mushrooms. Place a medium skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and butter. Stir to combine once butter is melted. Add mushrooms and saute until lightly browned. Reduce heat to low and simmer until mushrooms are tender. Remove from heat and set aside.
  5. Prepare fry sauce. In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise and BBQ sauce until combined.
  6. Place burgers on the grill. Grill each burger, uncovered, for 4 minutes. Flip burgers and grill for an additional 4 minutes. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on each burger, cover, and grill until cheese is melted. Remove burgers from heat.
  7. Top each burger with sauteed mushrooms and onion rings. Spread fry sauce on top half of hamburger bun. Enjoy!
