Heat oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook, tossing often, until cooked through. Remove chicken to a bowl and cover to keep warm.
In same pot, cook bacon over medium-high heat until crisp, 5 to 7 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
In same pot, saute onion, jalapeno, cayenne, salt, and pepper in bacon fat over medium-high heat until onions are softened, 4 to 5 minutes.
Add broth, corn, and creamed corn and bring to boil. Simmer over medium heat until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in half and half, bacon, and chicken and heat until warmed through. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon into soup bowls and garnish with cilantro.
